This is the inside of the rotunda with all the scaffolding in place.

Now, Here is a big crane. It came from Houston, Texas to do this project.

Here they are installing the temporary outside walls.

This the day they hauled in the Statue for the top. They called him "The Guardian"

Marcia and I are getting our pic taken.

Jim and Brandon on the north side of the capitol. We were looking at the statue on the top of the stairs.

The Budweiser Clydesdale Horses are coming around the corner

They sure are pretty

The capitol pretty much cleared out when the horses arrived.

This is a smaller version of the Guardian will stay on the second floor.

All the different colors are pretty.

Wrapped in plastic are the fire works that will be lit at the new Dome grand opening.

These fireworks are on the south side of the building.

Man, There is going to be a party.

There tables are on the 2nd floor.

The Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma 1907

Some of us got to go on a tour of the dome right after it was done.

These are the lights above the seal.

More lights of the seal.

When these round pillars were on the ground, all of the employees got to sign them with a marks alot.

Trish, Nancy, Scott South and Sue. Scott told us in detail how some of work was done.

This is the second level rail, It is solid Gold. If you touch it then it has to be polished or it will turn green.

It is a Long way down to the first floor from here.

We got to sign the railings above the Great Seal. See our names?

To change bulbs above the seal, they slide the lights out, change and slide them back into place.

These are the supports that hold up the inside walls.

Here we are about 12 feet below the Guardian. We almost could see Guthrie behind us.

We are looking to the west.

Looking up, there is "The Guardian" on the very top of the Dome. We are about 12 foot from the crest of the Dome.
