We couldn't figure out what this stuff was.

On our way to Land O' Lakes we stopped in Phelps for a real breakfast.

Karen took a rest day from cycling and helped work the rest stop.

This is the lake that feeds the Wisconsin River

Here is a plaque that tells about the start of the Wisconsin River.

Here is the start of the river.

We crossed into a new state on the way to Land O'Lakes

A bike path outside Land O'Lakes that ran parallel to Forest Road.

The only sound we heard was birds singing as we cycled this path.

These signs were in the area showing motorists there is bike traffic ahead.

A Big Foot crossing.

The sky here is BLUE and oh, so pretty.

Lakes around every corner.

Now, I am home sick. The motor on this is twice the size I had on my Ski-doo Blizzard 9500+.

Inside of "Soda Pops" Ice Cream shop. They had a lot of different kinds of any one soda pop.

Old Mobil gas pump.

Can you remember 24.9 cent per gallon gas?

An old chest type pepsi cola machine.

This is an old ice box for keeping food cold.

Water everywhere.

Lee from Minnesota

Ray and Rae Ann from Illinois

Laurie is in heaven now, her favorite cranberry brand. This was the first day Laurie wore her leg warmers and jacket.

I am cold. It was 39 deg when we started at 7:00 am. Man, standing in the sun is warm and feels good.

Another hill!

An eagle's nest but we didn't see any eagles though.

Here is some nice yard art. These were the only kinds of bear we got to see.

Lunch stop at another golf coarse.

Sharon and riding buddy

Bobbie, Kris, Michele and Dionis

Flowers are pretty

Even Laurie thought the sun felt good as we ate our lunch.

Jim, Laurie, Arletta and Jim

Notice the side of the beer truck. Pabst Blue Ribbon is a big seller in the Northwoods.

Laurie and Arletta ahead of Jim and I.

That is a big old barn.

A flower planter, what an idea!

A blackberry tree, I guess they have alot of them.

The water is blue and clear in the Northwoods.

Laurie and Jim at Long Lake.

There was 2 run down buildings on this street. False advertising I think.

Clear water is not something you find in Oklahoma.

Leffels Supper club in Antigo would be our last dinner together.

Laurie and Jim

Mike and Marie at our last ride meeting on Leffels veranda.

Jerry accepts a shirt signed by all 2004 tour participants.

Jane on the last day's ride back to Rosholt.

Cloudy skies and we never got wet ALL week. What a week!

Our last rest stop just outside of Antigo.

In the green jackets are Ann and Fred from Maryland.

L to r

Bruce and Jane from Minnesota.

Lee from Plymouth, MN.

The lady in the purple is Mary Ann, veteran of 63 tours.

Ever hear of Blatz beer?

The roads we rode on were EXCELLENT.

Good question, I felt like this farmer had too much winter time to figure this out.

Quiz - what dinosaur is this?

Laurie is waiting for me to get out of the way so she can blast down this last hill at the end of the ride.

On the drive home we stopped at the BIG Mississippi River.

Minnesota's fashionable tour

Lock # 7

This boat is going down stream entering the lock system.

North end gates are closing.

South end gates coming open.

Notice how far the water is down by the wet line on the cement wall.

Water lowered and the gates open.

Out goes the boat with a wave from the back seat riders.

We saw this 57 Ford in Mason City, Iowa.

Damn, This trip is over for now.
 Back to work, we go.
